Calling All Creative Change-Makers: Apply for the Youth To The Front Fund 2023 Grant Today!

The Youth To The Front Fund (YTTFF) is offering grants of up to $20,000 for individuals and groups engaged in the fight against systematic racism, inequality, inequity, and injustice in various sectors. These include the visual arts, performing arts, music, writing and literary arts, and creative changemaking. The YTTFF believes in a global family and encourages applications from all nations.

The YTTFF was founded in 2020 and has seen firsthand how creativity can spur change. The fund's aim for 2023 is to broaden its scope to include encouraging, assisting, and providing funding for artist collectives, cultural storytellers, and creative activists who use their voices and art to challenge structural injustice and alter perceptions in local and international communities.

The YTTFF encourages all members of its global family, regardless of where they live in the world, to submit applications since it views structural inequality as a worldwide issue. The call is for artists and groups battling systematic racism, inequality, inequity, and injustice in the visual, performing, musical, literary, and creative changemaking fields.

The fund seeks to foster a community of creative organizers and cultural storytellers through cross-networking and collaborations with critical thought partners in the fields of the arts and social justice while assisting creatives and collectives. The fund aims to offer funds and resources for daring movements, program initiatives, and exhibitions that confront systematic injustices. Projects should emphasize social justice, climate change, equity in education, and civic involvement.

Applications are accepted until May 18, 2023, at 11:59 PM EST. BIPOC or BIPOC-affiliated creatives or collectives under the age of 30 who are working to combat systemic injustice are eligible to apply.

To apply for the grant, visit the YTTFF website and follow the application instructions. It is an opportunity for young artists and creatives to use their voices and talents to make a difference in the world and create positive change.
