Seefar Foundation is seeking a skilled and compassionate Project Coordinator for a transformative project aimed at changing attitudes and behaviors of individuals using the Central Mediterranean Route for illegal migration or already in transit. As the Project Coordinator, you will organize and lead a team based in Nigeria to carry out the necessary operations to achieve the project's goals.


Key Responsibilities in Nigeria:

1. Provide in-person and online counseling support to targeted beneficiaries.

2. Organize community activities to address the topic of migration.

3. Lead social media efforts to raise awareness about the project.

4. Assist in conducting teacher trainings on the dangers of unauthorized immigration and legal options.

5. Build and maintain a database of referrals and facilitate connections to relevant services.


Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing teams and projects professionally.

- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

- Fluency in English and one local language (Yoruba or Edo).

- Experience working with disadvantaged communities and diverse stakeholders.

- Based in Lagos or Benin City.


Position Terms:

- Full-time, 12-month position with remote work possibilities.

- Ad hoc travel required.

- Paid online training from July 17-21.

- Project activities commence on July 31.

Selection Standards:

- Extensive experience coordinating teams in Nigeria for at least five years.
