Inventory Officer

Location: Ogun State

Our retail store is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Inventory Officer to join our team. As an Inventory Officer, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the store's inventory to ensure that stock levels are maintained and product availability is optimized.


Responsibilities:

- Inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, conducting regular inventory counts, and reconciling inventory records.

- Analyzing sales data and inventory turnover rates to identify slow-moving goods and taking appropriate action.

- Coordinating with store supervisors and staff to ensure timely orders and optimized stock levels.

- Resolving inventory-related issues such as discrepancies or delivery delays.

- Implementing and maintaining inventory management systems and procedures.


Requirements:

- HND/BSc in statistics, accounting, business administration, or a related field.

- At least 1 year of experience in inventory management, preferably in a retail environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and inventory management software.

- Knowledge of inventory management best practices, including stock management and forecasting.
